Star Cremation Urn

Themed Cremation Urns

Our themed cremation urns honor a life through the passions that defined it. This collection features hundreds of engraved artwork designs, ranging from animals and faith symbols to sports and trades. Each design is engraved directly into the cast aluminum or Signature solid-hardwood, alongside the optional name and dates, using two-tone engraving. Most themes are available in full-size, keepsake, and sharing sizes, and we can work with you on a custom artwork if the perfect design is not in our catalog. An engraved design serves as a permanent way to name the qualities that made a person unique.

Our collection offers a wide variety of subjects, with hundreds of distinct designs organized by theme. These encompass many interests, from sports and specific trades to animals, faith symbols, and vehicles. Each selection is intended to provide a specific visual language to represent a life through its most meaningful connections.

A single passion can often say more about a person than a portrait. You may find that their identity is most clearly captured by what they loved most, whether it was the quiet of a garden, the energy of a court, or the steady work of a garage. Choosing a theme is a way of naming those core interests and passions that defined their character.

Rather than being applied to the surface, these designs are two-tone engravings cut directly into the urn. This technique integrates the artwork, the name, and the dates into the material itself. This process ensures that the imagery and the personal details are part of the physical structure of the memorial.

This permanence allows the engraving to act as a lasting tribute to who they were. By cutting the design into the surface, the artwork becomes an inseparable part of their name and their history. It is a way to ensure that the things they held dear remain visible and intact for as long as the memorial is kept.

These themed designs are available on cast aluminum with painted or hand-applied enamel finishes, as well as on our Signature solid-hardwood urns. We offer most themes in full-size, keepsake, and sharing sizes to suit different needs. If the specific theme that mattered most is not found within our existing catalog, we can engrave custom artwork from an image you provide.

This flexibility ensures that no detail of a life is left out. Whether you choose a standard theme or provide a personal image for engraving, the goal is to provide a way to honor the specific person you remember. It allows the memorial to be a complete reflection of the life lived and the things that made that life unique.

The Cremation Association of North America describes cremation as an opportunity for creativity and a memorial as unique as the life lived. Their only recommendation to families is simple: don't do nothing.

Permanent memorialization provides a lasting tribute, a place to visit and gather, an assurance that the remains are cared for, and a key to family history for future generations. This allows you to find a meaningful way to honor the unique essence of the person you loved.

If your loved one was defined by the interests they embraced, a piece from this collection may offer a way to honor that connection. Whether their life was characterized by the serenity of a garden, the focus of a trade, or the excitement of a sport, these engraved urn designs serve to recognize those individual details.

The decision of which artwork to choose rests with you and your personal recollections. Should the exact image that captures their spirit not appear in our catalog, we can engrave custom artwork from a photo you provide to create a personalized cremation urn. This ensures the memorial remains a true reflection of the person, ensuring the passions they held dear are visually preserved.

Can't find the right one?

Search by a theme, hobby, or interest, or a size like keepsake, sharing, or individual. We'll help you find the right one.

Choosing the right size

Every design comes in the same three sizes. Here's how families use each one.

Individual

Full size · Approx. 10" high

Holds all of an adult's remains, the same full-size memorial a funeral home provides. Choosing one urn for one person? This is the one.

Sharing

Mid size · Approx. 6" high

Holds a meaningful portion of the remains, measured in cups, not all of them. Choose this when dividing ashes between households, or keeping some close after scattering the rest.

Keepsake

Pocket size · Approx. 3" high

Holds a small token: a few spoonfuls. A personal remembrance: one for each family member, or something small to keep on a shelf or bedside table.
