This solid walnut urn is crafted by a carpenter in the heart of United States.  The inside is accessible by unfastening four screws that hold the base in place.  When removed, the inside of the urn is available for remains and keepsakes.  Four felt feet keep display surfaces safe.

Question: Is there assembly required? I ordered something similar from someone else and I had to do the picture part myself. I want the urn to be ready and done when I receive it.

My husband was home with me for a while after the cremation in the container they provided. It bothered me. It was ugly. I worked with my grandson to find Green Meadow Memorials and this urn. It is beautiful and I keep him in the living room now, out with me. My grandson was even impressed. He used the tools to open it up and we transferred the bag. I thought it would be harder. The workmanship on this urn is first rate. Woodworking has long been my hobby and I was not the right state to build something like this myself. If I had tried I don't think I could have made anything better built. The way the front panels fit together is clever and quality of finish is outstanding. When I opened the box I was ready to be disapointed but this exceeded expectations.

The price of the walnut alone would have been nearly as much as I paid for this urn.
