The Celtic cross memorial urn honors those for whom faith and heritage were never two separate things. The ringed cross has carried meaning for centuries - the unbroken circle joined to the cross, the knotwork traced in stone across Ireland and Scotland, and the long tradition of Celtic Christianity that families carried with them wherever they settled. For some it was a proud Irish or Scottish heritage; for others it was the faith they practiced every Sunday, or simply a symbol that felt like home. This Celtic cross cremation urn honors a life where devotion and identity were woven tightly together.
The deep black finish creates a striking contrast with the intricate knotwork, allowing the sacred symbols of heritage to stand out with clarity. This Irish heritage cremation urn is a dignified display of a family's shared history. The cast aluminum construction ensures a lasting tribute that reflects the strength of the traditions being honored.
Quality features of this urn:
• durable cast aluminum with a painted finish
• threaded screw-top lid
• felt base to protect display surfaces; wide neck opening for easy filling
• matching velour bag available separately ($6.95)
This Sharing urn is designed to hold a portion of ashes, making it an ideal choice for dividing remains among multiple households. For families looking to split remains, this will hold one quarter to one fifth of the typical individual remains. We recommend at least one Individual sized urn to be used to hold additional remains. For even smaller portions, a Keepsake urn may be used. A matching velour bag is available separately.

A sharing urn is our mid size, about 6 inches high. It holds a meaningful portion of the remains, measured in cups, not all of them. Choose this when dividing ashes between households, or keeping some close after scattering the rest. It is not a keepsake, and it is not a full-size individual urn.
A keepsake is pocket size, about 3 inches high. It holds a small token: a few spoonfuls. A personal remembrance for each family member, or something small for a shelf or bedside table. A sharing urn is larger: a real home-display piece with more room for names, dates, and artwork you can actually read more easily. They are two sizes, not two names for the same urn.
A meaningful portion, measured in cups, not all of an adult’s remains. Each sharing urn lists its max size in the product description. If you are choosing one urn for one person, that is an individual urn (full size, about 10 inches high). If you only need a small token, that is a keepsake.
Yes. A common plan is one individual urn, a sharing urn for the household that wants a piece on the shelf, and keepsakes for everyone who wants a small remembrance. The funeral home will divide and transfer the ashes if you would rather not do it yourself. If you are unsure which mix fits your family, contact us. We do this with families every day.
An individual urn (about 10" tall) holds all of an adult's remains, the same full-size memorial a funeral home provides. A sharing urn (about 6" tall, from $64.95) holds a meaningful portion, measured in cups, for dividing ashes between households. A keepsake (about 3" tall, from $27.95) holds a few spoonfuls, a personal remembrance for each family member.

Our premium urns are finished in hand-applied enamel: glossier, deeper and more luminous than standard paint, with a rich, jewel-like depth of color and added durability. They are then adorned with intricate hand-hammered metal detailing: ornate, sculpted bands worked by hand around the lid and shoulder that catch the light. The result is an elevated, one-of-a-kind memorial you can feel as well as see.
Our classic painted finish over solid metal: a smooth, even color offered across our widest range of shades. The understated look keeps the focus on your engraving and artwork, holds its color over time, and suits most memorials. A timeless, versatile choice that pairs beautifully with any sentiment or design.
