The revolver memorial urn honors the people who appreciated a well-made revolver - the collectors who could talk for an hour about one old piece and the story of where it came from, the sport shooters who spent Saturday mornings at the range and cared more about a tight group than anything else, the Old West shooting competitors and reenactors who showed up in period clothes and stayed in character all weekend, and the ones who grew up on Westerns and never stopped loving them. The revolver took its familiar shape in the 1830s, and by the time of the cattle drives it had become part of every Western story worth telling. For the people who loved them, revolvers were about care and skill: clean it, store it right, and respect it every time. This revolver cremation urn is a tribute to a steady hand, a love of history, and a good story told well.

Rose Pink gives the artwork an unexpected softness, a nice nod to someone who never took a hobby too seriously. Friends and family can divide the ashes among them.

Quality features of this urn:
• durable cast aluminum with a painted finish
• threaded screw-top lid
• felt base to protect display surfaces; wide neck opening for easy filling
• matching velour bag available separately ($6.95)

This vessel is intended for those who wish to divide ashes among close friends or family members. For families looking to split remains, this will hold one quarter to one fifth of the typical individual remains. We recommend at least one Individual sized urn to be used to hold additional remains. A Keepsake urn is also available for even smaller portions. A matching velour bag is available separately.

A sharing urn is our mid size, about 6 inches high. It holds a meaningful portion of the remains, measured in cups, not all of them. Choose this when dividing ashes between households, or keeping some close after scattering the rest. It is not a keepsake, and it is not a full-size individual urn.

A keepsake is pocket size, about 3 inches high. It holds a small token: a few spoonfuls. A personal remembrance for each family member, or something small for a shelf or bedside table. A sharing urn is larger: a real home-display piece with more room for names, dates, and artwork you can actually read more easily. They are two sizes, not two names for the same urn.

A meaningful portion, measured in cups, not all of an adult’s remains. Each sharing urn lists its max size in the product description. If you are choosing one urn for one person, that is an individual urn (full size, about 10 inches high). If you only need a small token, that is a keepsake.

Yes. A common plan is one individual urn, a sharing urn for the household that wants a piece on the shelf, and keepsakes for everyone who wants a small remembrance. The funeral home will divide and transfer the ashes if you would rather not do it yourself. If you are unsure which mix fits your family, contact us. We do this with families every day.

An individual urn (about 10" tall) holds all of an adult's remains, the same full-size memorial a funeral home provides. A sharing urn (about 6" tall, from $64.95) holds a meaningful portion, measured in cups, for dividing ashes between households. A keepsake (about 3" tall, from $27.95) holds a few spoonfuls, a personal remembrance for each family member.
