Sailing Ship Cremation Urn - Regal Purple

The sailing ship memorial urn honors the people who loved the age of sail - the model builders who spent winters rigging a tall ship line by line on the kitchen table, the history readers who could explain how a square-rigger worked its way upwind, the volunteers who signed on as crew on a sail training ship and came home sunburned and hooked, and the families who drove to the harbor every time the tall ships came to town. A big square-rigged ship could carry more than thirty sails, and every one had its own name and its own set of lines that the crew learned by feel in the dark. Plenty of people never sailed one and still knew exactly what they were looking at. This tall ship cremation urn is a tribute to a long fascination and a love of the sea that never needed a reason.

Anyone who read sailing histories cover to cover will recognize the quiet pleasure of knowing how it all worked. This tall ship cremation urn is a tribute to that curiosity, and a rich regal purple enamel finish complements the artwork.
