- Question: Is this urn really made from solid oak?

Answer: Everything about it that is visible says yes. When I took the base off I noticed all the interior edges showed that it was solid wood. It is definitely heavy, it feels solid. The joinery is good too, along with the sanding and finish. Really a solid piece of woodworking.

Answer: When I took it to the funeral home they were very impressed. I asked them to what they thought of it and they asked me where I had found it. They noted the quality of the wood used and they must see all kinds. Yes as near as I can tell it is all solid oak.

Beautiful Fishing Urn
My dad loved fishing and we felt like we would chip in so my mom could have a beautiful memorial to keep on display in her home. I found this online and had a few questions which were very promptly answered. After checking with the family, we decided to order this urn and I am so glad we did. It came quickly and it really is beautiful in person as well, and all the text was just as we asked for it. Thank you Ryan for doing such a great job in creating our dads memorial. My mom cried and I really know we find the right one.
