Simply remove four screws from the base, and the entire interior of the urn can be accessed. A felt pad on each corner of the base protects display surfaces.

Answer: Carefully lay the urn on it's top. Set into the base you will see four screws. Carefully remove each screw. The base of the urn can then be picked up and carefully set aside. Place the remains and optional mementos inside the urn. Carefully replace the base on the urn and then reinsert the screws. Tighten them until they are tight but there is no need to overtighten them.

Simply BEAUTIFUL
When i got to this website, i was impressed with the products but my heart jumped a beat when i noticed the beautiful American Flag urn in Alder Wood. OMG. My Henry was a woodworker and a Patriot and this was so perfect. Shipped perfectly packed and the laser etching was perfect (it even smelled fresh!)!
