Angel Paw Pet Urns

Our angel paw pet urns are designed for the companions who offered quiet comfort, from the gentle ones who sat by the bedside to the mischievous ones who were always forgiven. The design is an engraved angel paw, in cast aluminum in a range of painted colors and in Signature Wood in walnut or alder in the extra-large size. Sizes run from a keepsake size to an extra-large size for a pet up to 200 pounds, and each urn can be engraved with a two-tone engraving of a name and dates, offered as an option.

This collection is intended for the household that remembers a pet for their gentleness, and for the person who was looked after by an animal on the hardest days. It is for those whose pet was a comfort that is still hard to do without.

Some pets are remembered for being quiet at the end of a long day, patient with children, or calm when visitors arrived. Others are remembered for their mischief, like the one who stole food or dug in the yard, only to be forgiven every time. The angel paw design, featuring a paw with a halo or wings, reads at once as a pet who is loved and missed, whether it was a dog or a cat.

Most of these pieces are cast aluminum with a painted finish in several colors. The small and extra-large sizes are also available in a hand-applied enamel finish that includes hand-detailed silver bands. For those seeking wood, the collection includes Signature Wood urns made in the USA from solid walnut or alder hardwood, which are sealed with a natural finish. The Signature Wood urns load from the bottom through a base plate held by four screws.

The collection includes a small size for a pet up to 40 pounds, a large size for a pet up to 120 pounds, and an extra-large size for a pet up to 200 pounds. The small, large and extra-large sizes are made to hold the full remains of a pet, and a keepsake size is also available to hold a small portion.

Each urn can be engraved by us. The name and dates are cut directly into the surface in a two-tone engraving, so they become part of the piece itself.

If the pet was a patient companion to children or the one that sat beside the bed on the hard days, then this design will recall the specific tenderness they offered. Families choose this design because the pet looked after them, and because the time together ended too soon.

You may find yourself picturing them following a worried person from room to room.

Choosing the right size

Every design comes in the same three sizes. Here's how families use each one.

Individual

Full size · Approx. 10" high

Holds all of an adult's remains, the same full-size memorial a funeral home provides. Choosing one urn for one person? This is the one.

Sharing

Mid size · Approx. 6" high

Holds a meaningful portion of the remains, measured in cups, not all of them. Choose this when dividing ashes between households, or keeping some close after scattering the rest.

Keepsake

Pocket size · Approx. 3" high

Holds a small token: a few spoonfuls. A personal remembrance: one for each family member, or something small to keep on a shelf or bedside table.
