For certain people, the guitar is not an instrument so much as a companion - the thing they reach for when words run out or when the evening needs a shape. The acoustic guitar memorial urn is for the players who never chased a stage but never stopped playing either: the campfire strummers, the porch pickers, the open-mic regulars who showed up week after week not because they expected to be discovered but because the music wouldn't leave them alone. They learned from library books and chord sheets and other players, and they spent decades developing a fluency that wasn't about technical perfection - it was about knowing exactly how to fill a room with something everyone felt but no one could name. The guitar was always within reach. That was enough.
The natural texture of the solid oak provides a sense of warmth and permanence that mirrors the resonance of a favorite song. Much like the connection felt when playing a familiar chord, the grain of the wood offers a tactile way to remember someone who found their voice through music. This guitarist cremation urn serves as a dignified tribute to a life lived in harmony.
Quality features of this urn:
• solid oak hardwood
• bottom-loading base plate secured with four screws
• X-ray scannable and TSA-compliant for air travel
This vessel is sized to hold all of the cremated remains of an adult. This urn fills from the bottom - start by setting it upside down on a soft cloth. Simply remove the four revealed screws to place the ashes inside, then secure the base back in place.

Questions & Answers
- Question: Is this urn really made from solid oak?
- Answer: Everything about it that is visible says yes. When I took the base off I noticed all the interior edges showed that it was solid wood. It is definitely heavy, it feels solid. The joinery is good too, along with the sanding and finish. Really a solid piece of woodworking.
- Answer: When I took it to the funeral home they were very impressed. I asked them to what they thought of it and they asked me where I had found it. They noted the quality of the wood used and they must see all kinds. Yes as near as I can tell it is all solid oak.
