Unicorn Urns

Our unicorn cremation urn collection is cast in aluminum and features various unicorn designs. You may choose from a range of painted colors or our enamel line, which features hand-applied enamel and hand-detailed silver bands. Available as full-size, keepsake, or sharing urns, each piece can be engraved with a two-tone engraving. The unicorn is a symbol for the rare and irreplaceable, honoring those who carried a sense of wonder.

The unicorn serves as a quiet emblem for the singular and the irreplaceable. It is an image used to signify a presence that is truly one of a kind, standing apart from the ordinary.

You might choose this motif for a person whose spirit was uniquely their own. They were someone who could not be categorized or replaced, leaving behind a legacy that remains distinct and singular.

Families often gravitate toward this imagery for those who carried a sense of magic within themselves. It is a tribute to those who lived with a certain lightness, finding the extraordinary in the everyday.

This is for the person who did not just experience wonder, but actively shared it with those around them. They had a way of seeing the world that invited others to see the beauty and the magic in it as well.

Our collection offers different ways to express this sentiment through texture and color. You may select from a variety of painted finishes, or opt for our enamel line. These enamel pieces are finished by hand and feature detailed silver bands of pierced metalwork, creating a tactile and layered appearance.

To accommodate the different ways families hold onto memory, we offer these designs in several sizes. Whether you require a full-size urn, a small keepsake urn, or a sharing urn intended for multiple people, each piece is crafted from cast aluminum and includes a felt base and a threaded screw-top lid.

To make the piece a permanent part of their story, we offer two-tone engraving directly into the surface. This allows the name and dates to be engraved into the metal, ensuring the memorial remains a dedicated tribute to their life.

Among the most treasured works of the late Middle Ages are the Unicorn Tapestries. These seven hangings were woven around 1495 to 1505 in fine wool and silk with silver and gilded threads. Five centuries later, they still hang at The Met Cloisters in New York, serving as proof of how long people have been weaving the unicorn into things made to be kept.

You may find this motif suitable for a person who was meant to be remembered with the same care and intention as these enduring works of art.

From the colorful painted surfaces to the textured enamel and silver metalwork, each aluminum memorial is designed to reflect a life that was singular. If they were truly irreplaceable, their name and dates can be engraved into the metal to ensure their story remains held with care.

Can't find the right one?

Search by a theme, hobby, or interest, or a size like keepsake, sharing, or individual. We'll help you find the right one.

Choosing the right size

Every design comes in the same three sizes. Here's how families use each one.

Individual

Full size · Approx. 10" high

Holds all of an adult's remains, the same full-size memorial a funeral home provides. Choosing one urn for one person? This is the one.

Sharing

Mid size · Approx. 6" high

Holds a meaningful portion of the remains, measured in cups, not all of them. Choose this when dividing ashes between households, or keeping some close after scattering the rest.

Keepsake

Pocket size · Approx. 3" high

Holds a small token: a few spoonfuls. A personal remembrance: one for each family member, or something small to keep on a shelf or bedside table.
