Pet Angel Wings Urns

This collection of pet angel wings urns is for the animals themselves and the families who sat by their side during the final weeks. Whether they waited at the window or slept in a familiar warm spot, these designs suit any pet, from cats to rabbits. These pet memorial urns are available in cast aluminum with painted or enamel finishes, or in solid walnut or alder hardwood in the extra-large size.

Sizes run from a keepsake size to an extra-large size for a pet up to 200 pounds, and the small, large and extra-large sizes are made to hold the full remains of a pet. A name and dates can be engraved in a two-tone engraving, offered as an option.

Wings are the image many families reach for when a pet dies, because they say the animal was cared for, and that the family wanted it to be. They are for the companion who curled up at the foot of your bed or the one who sought out the same warm spot every afternoon. The last weeks are often the clearest memory, with the extra blankets and the nights spent on the floor next to the bed. The wings suit any pet, and a family with a cat, a dog and a rabbit can choose the same design for all of them.

Each piece features an engraved angel wings design. Most of our aluminum urns come in a variety of painted colors, while the small and extra-large versions offer a hand-applied enamel finish accented with hand-detailed silver bands. For those who prefer wood, the Signature Wood urns are made in the USA in the extra-large size, in solid walnut or alder hardwood sealed with a natural finish, and they load from the bottom through a base plate held by four screws.

The small, large and extra-large sizes are made to hold the full remains of a pet. The small size is intended for pets up to 40 pounds, the large for those up to 120 pounds, and the extra-large for pets up to 200 pounds. We also offer a keepsake size for those who wish to keep a small portion of their companion close.

Each urn can be engraved directly by us, and engraving is offered as an option. The two-tone engraving is cut into the surface, so the name and dates become part of the piece.

If the last weeks were full of hand-fed meals, then these wings will read as theirs. Families choose this design because the pet was cared for to the end, and because the house is not the same without it.

You may find yourself picturing the warm spot where they slept every afternoon.

Choosing the right size

Every design comes in the same three sizes. Here's how families use each one.

Individual

Full size · Approx. 10" high

Holds all of an adult's remains, the same full-size memorial a funeral home provides. Choosing one urn for one person? This is the one.

Sharing

Mid size · Approx. 6" high

Holds a meaningful portion of the remains, measured in cups, not all of them. Choose this when dividing ashes between households, or keeping some close after scattering the rest.

Keepsake

Pocket size · Approx. 3" high

Holds a small token: a few spoonfuls. A personal remembrance: one for each family member, or something small to keep on a shelf or bedside table.
