The bottom of the urn has felt feet for protection, and the entire base is easily detaches to facilitate the transfer of ashes.

It was just as it was pictured. Wrapped in some padding and extra cardboard, but all we needed to do was take it to the funeral home.
It was all put together. It was simple to use.

I bout this for my mom. I was able to add the poem on the sentiment lines, the part I wanted most. I brought it to the funeral home and they were really curious as to where I had purchased it, I told them Green Meadow Memorials. This is very well constructed urn. The walnut is dark and just what I wanted. The artwork is high quality and the lettering is well done. The urn shipped quickly and it was delivered directly to the funeral home. We just brought it home and look forward to when we can gather for a celebration of life.
